Vendor Spotlight: James Hardie

For almost 20 years we have been building new construction homes in Virginia Beach so we have learned what products make the best homes. One vendor we use often on our new homes is James Hardie.  James Hardie is the leading manufacture in fiber cement siding. We choose their product because it is very low maintenance and is great in inclement weather (which is so important for beach houses). We use their UVA resistant pre-finished boards with “COLORPLUS TECHNOLOGY”. These are great because James Hardie applies multiple layers of paint, bakes, and cures each coat. This causes the siding to look better for much longer and to fade less than regular vinyl options.
