I have land or a lot in mind, and would like to have a Bishard home built. How long is this process and what will the process look like?
We estimate construction time taking anywhere from 90-120 days after your contract is ratified. Please note that all construction dates are estimated to the best of our ability, but are not guaranteed. We do our best to provide an accurate timeframe, but construction can be affected by many factors that are not always controllable. Do I need a Buyer’s Real Estate Agent to Buy from Bishard Homes?

What is the difference between buying in a neighborhood versus a stand-alone home?
There are great benefits in either situation, depending on your wants, needs and family situation. Our neighborhoods offer a great community feel, many of which include communal parks or other outdoor areas, great for kids or adults of all ages. All of our stand-alone or small groupings of homes are located in prime locations, many of which are just blocks from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Do you offer custom home building services or are all of your homes sold move-in ready?
Bishard Homes does not build custom homes, but we DO have options for buyers wishing to channel their own personal style. We love working with buyers to figure out which of our floorplans will work best for them, making adjustments to fit unique needs, and allowing color selections to be made throughout the design process. What kind of warranty do you offer?
Each Bishard home comes with a 1-year warranty, as required by the State of Virginia.
