International Sandsculpting Championship September 26 - October 5, 2014 Oceanfront, Virginia Beach 4th to 10th Streets Virginia Beach is home to the International Sandsculpting Championship, held every year during the city's Neptune Festival. The 10-day long event boasts artists and craftsmen and craftswomen from around the world. Every year, we are amazed at the talented people who invent and construct these sculptures. More Info... *** 41st Annual Neptune Festival September 26 - 28, 2014 Oceanfront, Virginia Beach Boardwalk 2nd - 36th Streets Virginia Beach's Neptune Festival is a fall celebration along the boardwalk filled with a kickoff parade, live music, unique arts and crafts, mouth-watering festival food and treats. Don't forget the Saturday night fireworks! Sign up here for Neptune's 8K and 5K runs and check out the volleyball tourney, the Atlantic Regatta and our toast to our very own Hometown Heroes! Celebrate the sights and sounds of freedom with a host of cool demos including Albatross, Fleet Air Power Launch, Bob Carlton Salto Jet Powered Glider, Jason Newburg/ Viper Performance, Shockwave Jet Truck and so much more.
