The Bishard Difference Is Apparent in our Townhome Communities

When most new-construction builders develop a townhome community, they pretty much copy and paste the same plans into every neighborhood—and while they might think there doesn’t need to be much variety in townhome plans, Bishard Homes knows better. 

Our team designs and selects the floor plans for our communities based on a variety of factors. We conduct years of market research to figure out exactly what features and functions consumers want in a townhome. Bishard Homes creates new floor plans for each new townhome community, because we want our neighborhoods to fit seamlessly into the area and complement existing architectural styles and influences. Homeowners don’t want a cookie-cutter townhome, so we offer distinct, expertly-designed floor plans. 

Newest townhome community  

After five years of development and planning, our first community in Chesapeake is almost ready to welcome homeowners. The Reserve at Grassfield, located in the highly rated Grassfield School District, is a townhome community with coastal influences and Nantucket-inspired architecture. With seven floor plans to choose from, amazing amenities that will be completed upon grand opening and personalization options that turn a house into a home for every owner, The Reserve at Grassfield Farms offers everything you’re looking for.

Bishard Homes aimed to build a community that families of every age and size would want to live in—so we designed floor plans that will work for the single person, families with kids, multi-generational living, blended families and everything in between. 

The Acre Townhome features a large garage (which can be extended even further with an optional bump-out), a mud room, full bathroom and bedroom on the first floor. The first flight of stairs leads to an open-concept second floor with a large living room, kitchen, pantry and dining area. The third floor includes A master suite, a third bedroom with a walk-in closet and full bathroom, as well as a conveniently placed laundry room.    

For the feel of a single-family home, check out The Arbor Townhome. The garage on the first floor leads into a mudroom, powder room and the open-concept living, dining area and kitchen. The second floor features a master suite with two walk-in closets, the laundry room and a second bedroom with a walk-in closet and a private full bathroom. On the third floor, you’ll find a loft space that can be used for whatever your family needs, a full bathroom and the third bedroom. 

If you want the chance to really customize your floor plan, The Juniper Townhome might be perfect. Choose between a flex room or bedroom on the first floor, along with the garage, mudroom and a full bathroom. The second floor features the kitchen with a massive island, a dining area, powder room and large living space. The third floor has two options—a master suite and one additional bedroom and bathroom, or a master suite with two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom. So while the standard plan is three bedrooms, the Juniper can have four. 

The Magnolia Townhome is an ideal plan for multi-generational families. There’s a suite on the first floor, along with a garage, porch and mudroom. The second floor opens up to the spacious living room, gourmet kitchen and dining room. A walk-in pantry, powder room and laundry room finish off the space. The third floor also offers two options—so homeowners can choose between a master suite and one additional bedroom or a master suite and two additional bedrooms. 

Over 2,000 square feet, The Alleghany Townhome is one of the largest plans in the community, featuring a first floor open-concept kitchen, living and dining space. There’s also a two-car garage and powder room. Upstairs, the second floor includes the master suite, laundry room and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The top floor features an additional bedroom, full bathroom and loft space. 

The Dogwood Townhome is another highly customizable option, with configurations that feature up to five bedrooms. The standard first floor includes the garage, laundry room, first-floor master suite, living room, kitchen and dining area. An optional sunroom can be added on for more living space. The standard second floor features a full bathroom and two bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet. A fifth bedroom and loft space can be added to this two-story plan to accommodate larger families. 

The other two-story option in The Reserve at Grassfield is The Hickory Townhome. The main floor features a first-floor master suite, garage, powder room, laundry room and an open concept living space with a kitchen, dining room and living room. Upstairs are three additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, plenty of storage space and a bonus loft area.
